Who We Are

With a current string of about 100 horses, Tom Proctor has no particular home base. And with barns set up in all major circuits (California, Fair Hill, Kentucky and Florida), he will stable each horse on the circuit where it is most competitive. Winter provides the closest to a home base, with the majority of his stable with his Tampa Bay Downs string, with runners at Gulfstream as well. He also maintains a division at Keeneland/Churchill Downs in the spring, and Fair Hill in the summer, and the Santa Anita Park string moves down to Del Mar. “Wherever I am at is my home track. I am based where ever there is a paymaster (horsemen’s bookkeeper) of purses,” he says. Check the Locations tab for more details on each region.
